Never miss a police dispatch

The Commissioner’s public blog, Police Dispatch, now has a ‘subscribe’ facility.

Subscribers receive an automated email and link telling them when a new blog has been posted. They can then read the blog on www.police.govt.nz.

New blogs are posted at least once a week, or more frequently if there are topical issues to discuss.

A recent series of three blogs about Commissioner Howard Broad’s trip to Afghanistan in August initiated coverage by mainstream media. Other recent blogs have responded to issues in the news (such the Christchurch homicide in September and the Law Commission’s alcohol review) and highlighted police occasions (such as Police Remembrance Day).
