The booklet provides valuable and practical information on how to deal with and prevent graffiti. Examples of best practice in the booklet include Auckland City’s Graffiti Tracker database, which uses photos of graffiti tags, addresses of incidents and the cost of damage repair as a source of information when interviewing graffiti vandals. Information contained on the database is shared with the territorial authority and other interested agencies. Copies have been sent to all districts and the guide can be downloaded from the Ministry of Justice website www.justice.govt.nz
